First steps

Today saw my first attempt at a new recipe of my own. While I have written recipes before this is perhaps the most unusual so far. The photo is of my attempt at a green tea bagel and whilst the tea flavour didn't come through, due to the shop not having matcha and my having to use loose leaf green tea as a result, it did lead me in an interesting direction for two new bagels. This one works well as a brown sugar sweet bagel without the tea, especially with the whiskey, honey and rosemary infused glass I used on the top, and I now am planning a matcha bagel with citrus elements. So all in all a pretty successful day just not in the way I expected. :-) Wish me luck tomorrow as I'll be trying the other bagel recipe and attempting my first coffee blend!
